Summary

  • News entry for dsh (DeepSeek Harness, deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness, npm @deepseek-ai/dsh, launched 2026-08-13): what it is, what it is not (no marketplace, no registries, external PRs refused, developer preview with breaking changes promised), the dsh-plugin topic as the only discovery surface, and the official powered_by-dsh-4D6BFE badge shown where it is documented.
  • Positioning: deepseek-cli is complementary, not competing - dsh runs the agent loop and executes tools, this CLI is the API client underneath (key checks, cost accounting, offline docs). The "not becoming a harness" TASTE line is linked.
  • Skills interop note where it earns its place: dsh skills are Anthropic SKILL.md-compatible and read from ~/.agents/skills + <project>/.agents/skills, so one skills directory serves Claude Code, dsh and this CLI's own skill.
  • SEO/GEO: dsh keywords into the news meta ("deepseek harness", "dsh", "@deepseek-ai/dsh", "dsh plugins", "dsh skills", "dsh vs claude code", "deepseek cli vs dsh", "install dsh", "dsh-plugin"), FAQ answers for "What is dsh?" and "Is dsh the same as deepseek-cli?" in the JSON-LD, plus site/llms.txt, root llms.txt and README.

No pricing changes in this PR; the dated repricing lands separately.

Test plan

  • python3 site/build.py regenerated news/index.html; --check clean
  • make site-check (bans.sh clean, all node suites pass)
  • site copy stays em-dash-free
