Hi, I'm Ron. Software and security engineer, second-time founder. I've spent 15+ years building software, tinkering with security and leading engineering teams.

Currently building Guardbase, the security solution for AI agents and MCP. Initially started as red teaming solution for AI apps. We kept running into the same problem: prompt injections cannot be patched. As a result we have to assume breach from day 1 and build a control plane surrounding this premise. This is why we founded Guardbase.

In 2011 I co-founded Flipbase, a video hosting solution for enterprises and ATS vendors. We bootstrapped it to a team of 10; selling the solution globally. I led engineering until 2022. The product still runs today. In between, I spent a year as tech lead at a blockchain enabled fantasy sports game with more then 100k+ players.

At rjx.dev I write at the intersection of AI, security and software.
