Note

Stacked PR: Depends on #5186, #5187.

Summary

Some light tidy ups to give blog posts more impact and breathing room.

Changes

  • On individual blog posts, drop the recent-posts sidebar (kept on the index and other list pages) and center the post content in the space left of the table of contents, preserving its column width.
  • Make the author grid more compact.

Note: Avoided for now — changes to the type/layout sizing of content on mobile (should also be reviewed).

Ideally horizontal post padding should shrink with the viewport. Also on some narrow desktop sizes the TOC is quite squished leading to many word breaks which is not that readable, while it seems there is a space in viewport to fit it.

@Simek Both changes addressed. TOC fixed-width fix is a site-wide change.
