Summary

  • Makes every author photo on /authors/ render in black and white across Leadership, Advisors, and Alumni tabs.
  • Keeps the existing hover scale behavior while sharing one photo class across all author-card variants.

Pushed a small follow-up to this branch (commit 7396460): the black-and-white treatment also needed to cover the little author byline photos that sit above blog posts (and on publications / talks / areas / about pages), which are rendered by src/components/AuthorCard.tsx rather than AuthorsTabs.tsx.

Added grayscale to all four avatar variants (lead, advisor, quote, and the small default pill). Here's the blog byline rendering in B&W now:
