You can now use Bash on Windows. Introducing Shterm: you can now use Bash commands, and it even has its own command, CTH. GitHub link lets you download GitHub packages/releases inside the terminal.
To use this program, download the release package. Once unzipped, open the MSI file and run the installer. If you get confused about what to do, the best option is to place it in "Program Files" or any directory you want. It is important to read about which directories are safe and which are not. Once you finish the installer, open the EXE file, and you should see a terminal. In the terminal, you can run any Bash command (e.g., echo "hi") and more. You can also run the cth command to download a GitHub release, like cth https://github.com/yourname/repo.
Bash scripts are frequently used to make malicious scripts. It is important to know what you're doing, as well as the risks of running scripts from random GitHub repositories; doing so will leave your computer at risk.
