Configure Meaningful Report File Names in Email Notifications

By default, report attachments included in email notifications may use a generic filename. To include a more descriptive filename with a timestamp, add the following configuration value to the Netwrix Directory Manager database.

Run the following SQL script against the Netwrix Directory Manager database:

IF NOT EXISTS (
SELECT 1 FROM [GroupID].[GlobalSystemConfiguration]
WHERE [Attribute] = N'IncludeLongDateTimeFormatInReportName'
)
BEGIN
INSERT INTO [GroupID].[GlobalSystemConfiguration] ([Attribute], [AttributeValue])
VALUES (N'IncludeLongDateTimeFormatInReportName', N'True')
END
GO

After this setting is applied, newly generated report attachments included in email notifications will use a more meaningful filename that includes the report name and a timestamp. Existing reports are not affected.
