Dev-only LinkedIn review board work (never in production). All content-only (markdown under linkedin-posts/), no template/production changes → no visual-gate impact.

What's in this batch

  • 70/20/10 conversion — dropped the reflexive course link (first_comment) on the four pure-teach posts (price, friends, mom-test, ten-interviews) so they become the free 70%.
  • New reaction postpersonal/reaction-vibe-coding-front-back (Paul's "vibe-code the front, discipline the back" thesis, from the trends scan; no link).
  • Reorder — content-plan front-loads no-link value/personal posts so the new voice lands before any funnel. Aug 25 → Sep 3 = four straight no-link value posts; only 2 course links in the 10-post window. proposed_for dates moved to match (vendors Aug 27, price Sep 3, staging Sep 8, trust-signals Sep 10).

Context

Part of the LI OS reorganization to the 70-20-10 pillar strategy (content-pillars.md), with story-bank.md (real cases + interview backlog) and trends.md (curation/reaction fuel) as the content sources. The three personal posts were voice-calibrated to Paul's blunt Holub/Paolino register (no lesson-wraps, no bait CTAs, no "surprises me" closes).

Going forward, LinkedIn work rides this branch + PR (Paul 2026-08-13) rather than direct-to-master.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Content

    • Added a personal post on when vibe coding is suitable for prototyping versus production systems.
    • Added guidance for making LinkedIn posts more concise and direct.
  • Schedule Updates

    • Reworked the 10-post calendar for August 11–September 15, improving content balance and limiting course links.
    • Rescheduled several posts across late August and September.
  • Content Updates

    • Replaced multiple course-link promotions with value-focused posts and reply-based calls to action.
    • Refined messaging, polls, stories, and unscheduled-draft guidance.

…rder plan

- 70/20/10: dropped the reflexive course link (first_comment) on price, friends,
  mom-test, ten-interviews -> now pure-value (the free 70%)
- new reaction post: vibe-coding front-vs-back (Paul's thesis from trends.md, no link)
- reordered content-plan to front-load no-link value posts: Aug25->Sep3 is four
straight value posts before any funnel; only 2 course links in the 10-post window
- moved proposed_for dates accordingly (vendors Aug27, price Sep3, staging Sep8,
  trust-signals Sep10)

Review limit reached

@pftg, you've reached your PR review limit, so we couldn't start this review.

Next review available in: 40 minutes

You've used all free OSS reviews for now. Wait for the free limit to reset to keep reviewing this public repository.

How can I continue?

After more reviews become available, a review can be triggered using the @coderabbitai review command as a PR comment. Alternatively, push new commits to this PR.

To avoid repeated limits, reduce automatic review volume by pausing incremental auto-reviews earlier, using label-based review opt-in, excluding WIP or generated PR titles, or requesting reviews manually when the PR is ready. If your team needs uninterrupted high-volume reviews, an organization admin can enable usage-based reviews.

How do review limits work?

CodeRabbit enforces per-developer PR review limits for each organization. Most developers receive the normal plan review availability.

For paid Pro and Pro+ PR reviews, CodeRabbit uses adaptive limits for sustained high-volume activity. When a developer's recent PR review activity reaches the 95th percentile or higher among CodeRabbit users, additional reviews become available more gradually as earlier reviews age out of the rolling window.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The PR replaces the LinkedIn schedule with a dated 10-post calendar, removes four course links in favor of reply CTAs, updates publication dates and post copy, adds a personal reaction draft, and expands writing guidance.

Changes

LinkedIn content planning

Layer / File(s) Summary
Calendar and course-link strategy
linkedin-posts/content-plan.md, linkedin-posts/course-promo/*
The calendar now uses dated, pillar-tagged entries with revised ratios and a no-link sequence. Four course-promo posts now use reply-only CTAs.
Publication schedule alignment
linkedin-posts/icp-validation/*, linkedin-posts/personal/bip-vendors-still-burning-founders.md
The proposed publication dates changed for two ICP-validation posts and one personal post.
Post copy revisions
linkedin-posts/course-promo/*, linkedin-posts/icp-validation/*, linkedin-posts/personal/story-wrong-about-bigbinary.md
Existing posts now use revised wording, condensed narratives, and updated validation statements.
New post and writing guidance
linkedin-posts/personal/reaction-vibe-coding-front-back.md, linkedin-posts/course-promo/backlog-40k-mvp-chasing-fixes.md, linkedin-posts/reference-examples.md
A personal reaction draft about vibe coding was added. The backlog post was condensed, and reference guidance now rejects detailed story recaps and hedged cost wording.

Estimated code review effort: 2 (Simple) | ~10 minutes

Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to 80420

This content-only batch changes the LinkedIn calendar and adds new posts, but several drafts still have publication-readiness problems: the link count is inconsistent, required image metadata is empty, one reply may expose an internal note, and a scheduled date disagrees with its frontmatter. These could lead to incorrect scheduling or unpublishable content, so follow-up is needed before merge.

…p it personal

Paul: it's personal, keep it simple and non-salesy. Dropped the 'Opus 4.5 and team
mode / configuration' changelog line and the 'team of agents / diffs hold together'
technical bit; now just the human point - quit over winter, it got reliable, don't
babysit it. Stays text-only (no image needed for a personal take).
…lainly

Paul: keep the Opus version - he's used earlier Opus versions (same wall), and
team mode's real win was cutting down the tools he had to stitch together. Added
that back plainly (genuine experience, not a changelog): 'earlier versions of
Opus included' + 'team mode replaced a bunch of the tools I used to stitch
together myself'.
Paul: he shared the reason for keeping Opus/team mode, not a request to rewrite -
and 'earlier versions of Opus' was wrong (Opus was good, other models weren't).
Restored the approved version with the Opus 4.5 + team mode specifics as he wrote them.
Human-voice pass on the next-5. founding-hypothesis + jira already read clean
(left untouched; jira is scheduled). Surgical fixes only:
- staging: killed the aphorism ('an answer that can't change your decision isn't
worth much') -> 'It's a reflex, not information.'
- friends: de-paralleled 'costs nothing / tells you nothing' -> plainer
- price: dropped the 'If you're non-technical' tic from the close question

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…s/founding

Heavy (backlog):
- 40k-chasing-fixes: cut 'what got to him wasn't the money' + 'what I wish
founders knew early' lesson-wrap; ends blunt - 'paid $40k to end up as the
unpaid project manager of his own product'
- BigBinary: reworked more personal/concrete - 'filed under dying business model /
I was the one who got it wrong / confident about the wrong thing'
Light:
- first-move + interview-count polls: killed the repeated 'founders who end up on
calls with me' tic -> 'outside my own bubble'; tightened interview-count's
  30-word opener
- why-i-wrote-it: softened 'Every founder I talk to' authority claim
Left clean/untouched: mom-test, ten-interviews, vibe-coding-disposable, trust-signals.

Paul flagged the blow-by-blow ('an error here, a dead feature there... message,
explain, agree, wait') as story-recap, not a take. Collapsed the enumerated loop
into one blunt beat + dropped the 'roughly what it should take' hedge. Codified
the tell (over-narration + soft-credential hedges) in reference-examples.

Paul didn't want the BigBinary story - deleted the post entirely. The story/
mistakes slot is open again; story-bank Q2 reopened (need a fresh 'confidently
wrong about a founder/idea' case from Paul, not BigBinary).
… an hour

From Paul's real work 2026-08-14: had AI build him a small review tool (the LI
post kanban board) so he reviews AI output laid out instead of digging through
files; ~30 min build, paid off day one. Point: AI makes custom workflow tools
cheap - no excuses. Real artifact (the board these posts live on), self-
referential, blunt register, no link. Slotted Sep 17 build-in-public.
…romote 40k

Reordered all 18 posts via proposed_for (board sorts by it): value/personal front,
course links ~15% (founding, 40k, why-i-wrote-it), AI-tooling posts spaced, and the
repetitive clusters (progress-visibility, interview) separated. Promoted 40k out of
backlog into the Sep 24 story slot. content-plan table = live board order.
…ed-anecdote opener

Paul flagged it as AI slop (the 'a [person] showed me' staged-encounter setup +
vague punch fragment). Now leads idea-first with the flat contrast (you can build
it in a weekend / plenty still overpay), keeps the tools + emotion + close.
…ows poll not image

- Cut 'non-technical founder' from post bodies (Paul: it's ICP targeting-jargon,
not his speech, overused) -> 'founder'/'you' (why-i-wrote-it, jira, staging x2,
40k, validate). Context self-selects the audience.
- friends: 'That line feels like proof. It isn't.' (terse setup-negate slop) ->
  'That's not proof of anything.'
- single.html: poll-type posts (design:poll) now render the poll options as
  LinkedIn-style pills in the visual column instead of an empty image slot;
guarded design_file:none from counting as a visual; suppressed the redundant
options in the Details panel for polls.

…g you

From Paul 2026-08-14: teams sit in pain waiting for approval to fix their own
problems - you don't need a yes; the retro exists to spot the next thing you can
fix yourself. Leadership/ownership take (variety from course/rescue clusters),
personal lane, opinion pillar, no link, Holub register. Slotted Oct 15.
…rsonal lane assets

Generated a New Yorker-style editorial cartoon (relaxed founder + tidy robot
working + abandoned old-tech pile = 'not babysitting it', no text). Passes the
new-media gate (great look / functional / earns scroll / helpful). Wired into the
claude-code post; added the dev-only 'personal' lane assets mount so it serves on
the board. Verified renders in context.
…nana-pro)

New Yorker editorial cartoons wired into the 5 imageless posts:
- claude-code (earlier), vendors (founder pays slick salesman for a taped-up
  broken laptop; AI sits ignored)
- vibe-coding front/back (play-sketch on the left, engineer the solid version right)
- build-your-own-tools (founder happy at a custom dashboard a robot just built)
- permission-to-fix (team frozen at the MANAGER door while a pipe bursts beside them)
- 40k-chasing-fixes (exhausted founder drowning in ERROR popups + bug sticky-notes)
All pass the new-media gate; polls keep their poll-display (no image). Note:
permission-fix has a clean 'MANAGER' door sign, chasing-fixes has 'ERROR' popups.

- README: 'Image type by pillar' (teach->exhibit, personal->caricature, poll->
poll, grounded in Cutler/Rossi/Holub/Paolino) + 'Generating caricatures (the
Art tool)' step-by-step (prompt template, nano-banana-pro command, no-text
  gate, wire-in + new-lane mount, key stays in ~/.claude/.env)
- .okf/log.md: dated entry for the caricature pipeline + the sign-word quirk

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…, not the button-wording

Paul: it's a teach post (not personal), so an exhibit, not a caricature - and find
the BEST one. The two-button exhibit showed a secondary detail (button wording);
replaced it with a comments-vs-payment contrast that teaches the post's actual hook
(a hundred 'sounds great' comments = costs nothing, red; one $97 payment = a
stranger's real money, green). Trimmed the now-orphaned two-button paragraph from
the body. House refactoring.fm style, render-verified.

… status)

Captured the 2026-08-14 handoff at the top of content-plan: all LI work on branch/
PR #455 (unmerged), status RED (0 touches sent, bottleneck is distribution not
demand). Priority: schedule the ready LI run + start the rescue outreach (real
bottleneck) + resolve the 2 gating decisions; do NOT make more content until the
first batch is live. Open items noted (replacement story, PR merge, caricature key).
