Solution: Do that.
I'm not sure if this mamba is going to work still for Python 3.8 - that is very old. I'm also attempting to fix the metadata, and doing a check / validation at the end. I also updated the actions versions that carry an old node version. I will update as needed.
@bgunnar5 the artifacts in the workflow here can be tested - I sent you a complete set for Python 3.14 and am tweaking the CI now (updating versions, etc.) I'd like to confirm that Python 3.14 works to install from a wheel, and then we can merge and I can release an updated version via the workflow.
