Add playwright smoke test that opens the built site in a headless browser and verifies the page actually renders. This would have caught the react/react-dom version mismatch that caused a blank page. Also fix eslint config to ignore public/ (bundled docs JS) and remove dead calendar code left behind when the community section was removed. Dependabot bumps were breaking builds but not detected in CI until merged to main and deployed. Add a job to validate PRs.
