NiceSettings provides fine-tuned, performance-boosted FastFlag configurations specifically designed for Sober under Linux (Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.). Boost your FPS, remove latency, and optimize engine visuals effortlessly.

🚀 Choose Your Preset

Click on any file above in the repository to download:

  • Sober-Max-FPS-Potato-PC.json: Optimized for low-end PCs, laptops, or maximum competitive FPS. Disables heavy shadows, post-processing, and grass details.
  • 🎨 Sober-HighSpec-UltraVisuals.json: Designed for modern PCs. Forces Future Lighting (Phase 3), MSAA Anti-Aliasing, and max render distance while unlocking FPS.

🛠️ How to Use with Lution (Recommended)

  1. Download your preferred .json file from above.
  2. Open Lution.
  3. Go to the FastFlags tab and import the downloaded .json file.
  4. Restart Sober and enjoy!

⚙️ Manual Installation (Without Lution)

  1. Rename your downloaded file to ClientAppSettings.json.
  2. Move it into your Sober ClientSettings folder:
    ~/.var/app/org.vinegarhq.Sober/config/sober/ClientSettings/

     Restart Sober.

📌 Features

🔓 FPS Uncap: Unlocks the default 60 FPS limit (DFIntTaskSchedulerTargetFps: 9999).

🏎️ Luau Codegen: Enables native Luau execution for faster script performance.

⚡ Preloading: Preloads assets (textures, sounds, meshes) to eliminate stuttering when joining games.

🚫 Telemetry Disabled: Strips unnecessary background tracking for lower ping and network stability.

Disclaimer: FastFlags are official built-in engine parameters provided by Roblox. These settings are completely safe and TOS-friendly.
