Running the Example

Overview

The example which is in this repo is to try out and understand how to flash your model with Eclipse ModusToolbox™.

Preparation

Please install DEEPCRAFT™ Studio (for getting data, labeling data and training your model)

For flashing on your PSOC we recommend Eclipse ModusToolbox™.

Installation of DEEPCRAFT™ Studio

Just download DEEPCRAFT™ Studio from this link. Only WINDOWS is supportet.

Installation of Eclipse ModusToolbox™

If you want to install Eclipse ModusToolbox™ please follow this link.

If you can not install our test model, please make sure that you've installed ModusToolbox™ Setup and all the default software which is preselected.

If it is not preselected here is the list that we have installed: Eclipse IDE for ModusToolbox™ Arm Gnu Toolchain (GCC) 14.2.1
ModusToolbox™ Tools Package 3.6.0 (some participants also needed 3.8.0) so maybe install both?
Microsoft VS Code
DEEPCRAFT™ Studio
ModusToolbox™ Edge Protect Secruity Suite
ModusToolbox™ Programming tools
ModusToolbox™ Machine learning pack

And please make sure that there are no spaces in your folders name. :)

If you need a guide here is also a guide. Eclipse ModusToolbox™ installation guide :)

Flasing the Data collection programm again

If you flashed your microcontroller with a different program and you want to get data than the easiest way is to go on this website flash the model.

Just press gestuere dection and than the + sign on the right. And select your board. On the left bottom Experience Application with DEEPCRAFT™ Studio will appear. Press on continue. We discoverd that some brwosers are not detection the connected board. We have good experience with EDGE and Opera.

Compile & Run the Example

Now that you have the example on your computer you can open Eclipse ModusToolbox™ and import or copy the project in you Eclipse ModusToolbox™ folder.

Now, you can compile & flash the example.

Of course this is only an example to undestand how everything works - So now it is your task to grasp every object :)

And if you have questions or a problem just come to us, we may help you or just follow this quote: "If there is no path before you, create your own." (Quote: Star Wars the Clone Wars: Season 7, Episode 5 – Gone with a Trace)
