Subcircuit Files for Different IC'S

Purpose

The added Integrated Circuit (IC) subcircuits are widely used in electronic systems and applications. This contribution aims to make the implementation and simulation of these commonly used ICs easier within eSim by providing ready-to-use subcircuit models.

The following ICs have been added:

• TLC2264
• LM386N
• LM3411
• MC1556
• SDA12
• TL317
• MC33171
• MIC4422
• SN75451
• MC10136

Approach

For each IC:

1. Created the schematic symbol and subcircuit design in eSim.
2. Performed ERC checks to ensure the schematic was error-free.
3. Generated the corresponding netlist.
4. Converted the KiCad schematic to an NgSpice-compatible circuit.
5. Assigned the required component values and model parameters.
6. Designed appropriate testbench circuits.
7. Verified the functionality through simulation and analyzed the input/output waveforms.
8. Included the generated subcircuit and simulation output files.

All ICs were successfully simulated and verified in eSim.
