Hi @scottisloud, the pull request intends to use https://github.com/numtide/treefmt-nix to format codes, regardless of programming languages in the repository.

Thanks for the additional detail, and I appreciate your desire to contribute to this repo.

Since we already have gofmt and golangci-lint, and because the vast majority of this repo is Go, I am not inclined to introduce formatters for other languages. For that reason I'll be closing this PR.
