Issue Subcategory:

Landmarks used incorrectly

User Experience:

Screen reader users may have difficulty navigating key page regions when landmarks are used incorrectly, such as when multiple landmarks of the same type are indistinguishable.

Repro Steps:

Launch URL https://dccentral-test.microsoft.com/workspace?DDUROUTE=true --> Workspace -->Run AI4W for fast pass

Actual Result:

Landmarks are implemented incorrectly, such as multiple unlabeled nav elements or landmarks that do not accurately represent their content.

Expected Result:

Landmarks should be used appropriately, and multiple landmarks of the same type should have unique labels when needed.

How to fix:

Use appropriate landmark elements such as header, main, nav, and footer, or equivalent ARIA landmark roles. When multiple instances of the same landmark exist, give each a unique accessible name, such as with aria-label or aria-labelledby.

Environment details:

Application Name: MCIO-GDCO-LaborReferenceSystem
URL: https://dccentral-test.microsoft.com/workspace?DDUROUTE=true
Chromium Edge version: Microsoft Edge version 149.0.0.0 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OS: Windows 11 Enterprise Insider Preview 26200.8655
