Metadata for custom .target files

The documentation describes 2 kinds of metadata for .target files. And looks like it's possible to create custom .target files. But is it possible to add metadata to custom targets using additional JSON files?

No, and that's actually one of the things which have started to hurt with the randomization feature. There's for example no way to say that two custom targets belong for a left/right symmetry or that two custom targets are opposing. And there is no way to add metadata about a target as such.

This is something which should be addressed in the recent future.

If you have particular needs for these, please list these here and we can turn this issue into a more specific feature request.

I'm integrating MakeHuman pipeline as a character editor to my life simulation game. So I'm just trying to learn how things are done 🙂
I really like how things like .mhclo are done, and just noticed that .target files are less extensible. Maybe it's wroth having something like .modifier that describes a modifier? Or just allow loading additional JSONs.

I just want the game to be moddable and support the official MakeHuman pipeline.
Usually I just discover files and load them, which works for built-in and user assets.
But for modifiers I have to load these 2 JSONs with metadata and for custom targets I just load .target files, which is inconsistent (and a bit more limiting since you can't define directions).
