Map view is not updating with facet selection

When I click on different facets under "material", "object type", "sampled feature", the map doesn't update to reflect the facets I have or haven't selected.

When I click on a facet, it should narrow the search down to just that facet (and any other that are selected). The map should update to only show the selected facets. The "counts" of records next to the facets should also update to accurately reflect the total number of records retrieved in the query from facet selection.

Thanks Andrea — dug into this. There are actually two behaviors bundled here, and they're now handled in PR #270.

The counts next to facets do recompute on selection (that path was fixed in #261/#253). If you ever see counts stay stale, grab the URL/zoom and I'll re-check.

The map was the real issue, and it depended on zoom:

• Zoomed in (individual dots): facet selection already filtered the map correctly.
• Zoomed out (colored cluster hexes): facet clicks couldn't filter the clusters — those hexes are pre-aggregated summaries that only know counts and dominant source, so there's literally no material/object-type/feature column to filter on. There was only a small advisory note about this, which is easy to miss — so from your side the map looked frozen.

Fix (PR #270): selecting any material / sampled-feature / object-type facet now automatically drops you into point (dot) mode — exactly like committing a text search already does — so the map always visibly responds. One tradeoff to be aware of: a very broad facet (e.g. a million-sample material) will show a capped set of dots with a "showing N — zoom in" note, same as broad searches do today.
