Expo - react-native-document-scanner-plugin

Hi! I'm trying to install the plugin in Expo and it keeps showing this error::

I just tested using expo and works for me.

I ran

npx create-expo-app my-app
npx expo install react-native-document-scanner-plugin
npx expo prebuild
npm run android

I didn't modify app.json.

I changed App.js

My package.json looks similar to yours, but there are some differences. Maybe we generated the projects differently. Try using npx create-expo-app my-app

@dmarcs , I followed your steps and still get the same error as the OP. Just FYI, I continue trying to troubleshoot on my own.

WARN Possible Unhandled Promise Rejection (id: 0):
Error: The package 'react-native-document-scanner-plugin' doesn't seem to be linked. Make sure:

• You rebuilt the app after installing the package
• You are not using Expo managed workflow

In my case it was the way I ran the APP, it worked with "npx expo run:android"
