PC lags really hard since newest patch

How is Path of Building expected to behave?

PoB is expected to run smooth.

How does Path of Building behave?

PoB launches properly, then everything lags like crazy. PoB feels like it runs on 5FPS.

How to reproduce the issue

I updated PoB after league start of 3.29. Since then the error occurs.

Reproducing:

1. Click on update PoB.

Note: Update changelog was empty once. I can not replicate as it lags even when uninstalling and reinstalling.
PoB is located in %appdata%.

My bad. Didn't think PC specs would matter as it worked just fine before.

Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X
CPU version: ??
GPU: 4060 Ti and its newest available driver
OS: Win 10

@takoz53 did you try reinstalling or installing a previous update?

A previous update: Not yet, on it.
Reinstalled: as stated, I have deleted it manually from %appdata% and also have uninstalled it from windows system manager.

@LocalIdentity The installation automatically updates to 2.66.2. How can I prevent this? (I have downloaded 2.66.0)

Now it does suddenly work after restarting my pc multiple times. I don't know.
