"re-open last used files" option not working

The problem
I'm using LogExpert v1.42.0.0 on Windows (zip packaged).

• I open a text file.
• then made sure the "re-open last used files" checked
• Exit logExpert and re-launch it

But no file was re-opened after re-launching the application.
I also compared with v1.9.1.9001, that option worked in the earlier version.

If this issue is not reproducible by others, might there be some conflicting settings in Windows as I ran both v1.9.1.x and the 1.42.x?

could be something conflicting, it works on my side, but still worth exploring, could be a bug

In the exported configuration setting (.json), I can find "OpenLastFiles": true,, but it seems "LastOpenFilesList": [], is always an empty list (even though I can see a list of Last Used files in the File menu)?? Not sure if this helps.
