@LSantha

Description

@LSantha

Goal

Create JUnit4 host-runnable test for Object.wait/notify semantics.

Source Under Test

  • File: Object.wait/notify semantics
  • Class: java.lang.Object
  • Purpose: Verify wait/notify behavior

Current State

  • Test file: core/src/test/org/jnode/test/WaitTest.java
  • Type: Other/Manual
  • Quality: no-tests (0 methods, 0 assertions)
  • Requires JNode: No (host JDK runnable)

Approach

  1. Create JUnit4 test for wait(), wait(timeout), notify(), notifyAll(), InterruptedException, spurious wakeup
  2. Add to CoreTestSuite
  3. Verify test compiles and passes

Acceptance Criteria

  • Test class compiles
  • sh build.sh tests exits 0
  • JUnit XML report contains the test
  • QEMU boot test passes
  • PR opened against master
